Have you been wanting to bring KINETYX Dance Ensemble to your school but just couldn't afford the cost? Well, you are in luck. We have created DVD productions of our popular Active Learning Performances available for purchase now!

Each DVD comes with an educational packet that includes curriculum connections, classroom activities, vocabulary, history of dance and a bibliography of books and music used in the program.


There are four DVD's to choose from:

"Movin' Into Math"
Basic math skills such as division, multiplication, fractions, decimals, percents, directional and positional words, patterns and sequences, geometric forms and transformations, use of diagrams and how we apply these skills to the making of dances.

"Science In Motion"
Interdependence of life forms, electric currents, life cycles, simple and compound machines, states of matter, Newton's laws of motion and observation of the human body in motion.

"Unspoken Words
Nouns, verbs and adjectives, punctuation, elements of a story, creative storytelling through movement and visual media.

Instructional Dance Videos

Martha Connerton/Kinetic Works, in collaboration with videographer, Stuart Grasberg, and with support from a Grassroots Grant from the Arts and Science Council of Charlotte, has released a new series of instructional modern dance technique videos.

These videos demonstrate Ms. Connerton’s methods for training dancers, based on a synthesis of ballet and modern dance styles. Demonstrated by wonderful dancers from Kinetic Works Dance Company, the classes are lively, fun and challenging. Martha’s style incorporates strong technical training with gorgeous expressive movement combinations.

A perfect addition to video archives for colleges and universities, dance studios or your personal home-study.
